The results ranked Massage Therapist as #28 Best Health Care Job and #62 in the Top 100 Best Jobs in accordance to its ability to meet the said employment concerns.
The growing number of massage clinics and spas in United States for the recent years accentuates an increasing demand for massage services. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), massage therapist employment growth has been anticipated to rise to approximately 22.6 percent in the years 2012 to 2022, increasing the number to about 30,000 more professionals in the said field. Statistics gathered by the same said bureau, medial annual salary for massage therapist is $35,920 in the year 2013.
